How does Sublimation work?

During the heat transfer process, the molecules of the sublimation dyes turn from a solid to a gaseous state and penetrate the surface of the tiles. When the tile cools, the dyes return to their solid state and are permanently impregnated into the tile.



Can I have multiple images or photos on one mural or stone?

A: Yes anything you can imagine we can make.
For instance we can make one scene with a dozen different photographs; however some extra graphic charges will apply depending on how much time it takes over and above or single photo into stone price.



Can I put an imaged or stone mural outdoors in the sunlight ?

No, you can not put an imaged or stone mural outdoors in the sunlight. . It will last forever indoors but just like a vampire it doesn't like the sunlight; To be outside the tiles and stones must be coated with a UV coating.



Can I put images on counter tops, tabletops, and floors?

Yes! However only using matt or satin finish
The glossy finish is not as strong as these and therefore is not recommended for floors or table-tops.



Dose this process destroy or damage my photo in any way?

Not at all! All we do with the photo you provide is scan it, If you already have a high resolution picture on your computer, we will be happy to use that too. Photos on CD and also be used as well.



Can my photo be enlarged and made into various sized wall murals composed of many tiles or stones?

Yes! We can enlarge your photo or art and make into a variety of sizes and shapes. We can even help you figure out what sizes would look best in your space if needed.



Is this product durable?

Absolutely! Photos in stone and ceramic tile are virtually fireproof. They are waterproof, and have no glass glare like framed paper photos.



How do you clean the tiles and stones?

The same way you would clean your kitchen counter. Using any regular house hold cleaner should do the trick. However, using a harsh or abrasive cleaner isn't suggested as it can scratch the coating.



How long does it take to get my order?

Most orders ship in about 10 days, however please allow up to 14 days. Orders are shipped through DHL, or UPS. If you prefer a different method, just let us know, and will be happy to oblige.



Can I get a rush order?

If you have a deadline, just call us or email {insert email link here},and for an additional fee, we can rush your order.



What if I don't see exactly what I want on the website?

We are always adding new art, and designs. If you don't see what your looking for, just call or email sales@phototileandstone.com and let us know what your looking for.



What is your return policy?

If your tiles or stones are damaged during shipping, call or email us at sales@phototileandstone.com within 3 business days and we will ship you a new one at our expense. You must keep the damaged tiles or stones and packaging so that it can be inspected by the shipping company.
